Applauses and boos
At the present moment, when people subscribed to a mailing list read a message received from a member, they have no possibility to swiftly express their consensus or dissensus for as regard that specific message.
Let us imagine, instead, that at the end of the message would be reported these two rows:
- Go to see the whole audience response -
In this way, simply by pressing a link, every member of a list can express her/his opinion and can be lead to a page where the result is showed in a simple coloured table, in accord with the patchwork model, whose concept is briefly expressed here.
This is very different from an anonymous poll, because every little coloured square in the resulting table corresponds to a single member, and only the programmer can decide the level of complexity to give to this system. For example, a little photo of the member can be displayed by scrolling over the mouse.
The patchwork model permits indeed a well more complete project for a new service specifically designed for calls and motions with an high level of interactivity. May be it is too much complex to be made immediately. So, I have reduced the whole project in the scheme of this little application (Applauses and boos) easy to be carried out and to be added to every mailing list.
